Our Unemployment Appeals Practice
We represent employees in cases where you have been turned down for unemployment benefits, or your former employer has appealed a ruling granting you benefits. Our goal, when handling unemployment appeals, is to get you the relief you seek administratively. We will seek an administrative hearing before an administrative law judge or a board hearing at the appeal level.
When you hire us to handle your unemployment appeal, we will first make certain that an appeal has been properly filed and that you have a date set for a hearing. We will meet personally with you to clarify all of the relevant issues, so that we can gather evidence and prepare an argument supporting your right to benefits. We will then act as your advocate at any hearings.
We do not charge you a fee up front to represent you at any unemployment appeal hearing. Fees are charged only if you win and the fees are approved by the board.
